Course Description

M.Sc Agriculture (Agricultural Economics) is a 2 Year postgraduate programme designed to equip the students with knowledge, skills and tools to conduct theoretical and empirical economic analysis with respect to the renewable natural resource domain. Economic theories and principles are applied to agricultural practices. Training is provided in Micro economic theory and application , Agricultural marketing price analysis, Macroeconomics and policy, Research methods for social sciences, Agricultural production economics, Econometrics, Agricultural finance project management etc. Graduates can find work as distributors, supervisors, researchers, engineers and even come up with their own business.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
