Course Description

M.Sc. Aquaculture or Master of Science in Aquaculture is a postgraduate Aqua Science course. Aquaculture also called aqua-farming, is the farming of aquatic beings, like mollusks, aquatic plants, fish and crustaceans. The course is job orienting in nature that opens numerous opportunities after passing it. It is a postgraduate course in Aquatic Science. In this course, students gain knowledge about aquaculture and the farming of aquatic beings, like fish, mollusks, scavengers, and aquatic plants. It includes the investigation of Biodiversity, Aquatic Toxicology, Fish Diseases, Fish Nutrition and Immunology. The students lead examinations on varied parts of frogs, fish, and mice as experimental models.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology or Fisheries Science faculty or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
