Course Description
M. Sc Human Development is a full-time 2-year program that aims to develop in students a holistic understanding of the fundamentals and related aspects of Human Development and progress. Throughout the duration of this course, some of the core subjects are also covered such as History and Theories of Human Development, Study of Family in Society, Management Programmes for Children, Parenting in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Care and Education, Methods of Human Development, Child and Human Rights, Psychotherapies and Skills Training, Care of Children with Disabilities and Illness, Guidance and Counselling, Disorders of Childhood and Adolescence, Development of Creativity etc. The primary objective of this course is to create professionals that have advanced, in-depth theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the field, necessary skillset, and extensive training required to work in some of the major industries of this field.
