Course Description

M.V.Sc. Veterinary Medicine course gives an opportunity to conduct field research in anatomy, marine medicine, clinical pathology, anatomical pathology, pharmacology, bacteriology, virology, wildlife conservation medicine, parasitology, and morphological pathology.This course describes the physiological processes carried by the major organ systems, and tissues, and the regulatory mechanisms that affect the animals organisms.In this course, students study major topics include veterinary internal medicine, veterinary anatomy, veterinary parasitology, veterinary microbiology, veterinary physiology, veterinary public health, veterinary pathology, veterinary theriogenology, and veterinary surgery. Students also study how to develop veterinary medicine and inform them of emerging trends. This course emphasizes the component to establish the basic tools and historical perspective required for disease prevention and health promotion.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in B.Sc. / B.V.Sc. / AHB or an equivalent degree in a science stream from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
