Course Description

M.Sc. (Information and Cyber Security) is a 2 Year Programme that is designed to impart knowledge and skillset to the students regarding the technology, business and law to reduce the risk of security intrusions. Training may include C Programming and Data Structure, Information system and software engineering, Fundamentals of information security and Legal Framework, Introduction to Hardware, Network, the Internet, Network security(Ref: WBUT MCSE 401C), Application and system security, Operating System, Database and Infrastructure Security, Cyber Forensics, Malware Analysis, Cyber Law, Block Chain etc. Graduates can work as Chief information security officer (CISO), Computer information systems manager, Computer network architect, Cybercrime analyst/investigator, Cyber security analyst/consultant, Cyber security architect, Cyber security director, Cyber security engineer etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
