Course Description

MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course in medicine. Obstetrics and Gynecology are the two surgical–medical specialties dealing with the female reproductive organs in their pregnant and non-pregnant state, respectively, and as such, are often combined to form a single medical specialty and postgraduate training program. The fundamental qualification measure for seeking after the course is the fruitful culmination of MBBS from an establishment perceived by the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils, and with a base total score of 55%. Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance exam.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
