The Master's program in Volcanology provides students with an understanding of major volcanic processes and hazard types, and with generic skills for risk analysis, as well as allowing students to develop as individual researchers. Students will learn about the inner workings of volcanoes, from magma generation in the deep Earth to the amazing variety of volcanic eruptions, and learn about the effects of volcanoes on society from hazards to climate change.
