Master of Science in applied science is a Post graduate research-oriented course of 2 years. The course helps students develop expertise in field of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, Management Science, Math and Computing Science etc The course will prepare the candidates to face challenges in departments related to research and development in modern industries and also government institutions like defence research, space research, criminal investigations etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 5 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs per annum in India. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete Graduation in related discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks followed by qualifying entrance tests like GATE exams. Fees in Colleges/Universities are somewhere between 50K to 3 Lakhs INR per year.
