Master of Science in Robotics and Automation Engineering is a Post graduate Engineering specialisation course of 2 years that requires both study and thesis in the field of Robotics. The Course consists of in-depth study of integration of Computer Engineering and Mechanics or Smart Mechanical systems integrated with programmable Software to function as an automated or independent system. The course covers extensive research and study in concepts like Motion Planning, Human-Robot Interaction, Perception and robotics, Image, tactile and force sensors, Dynamics, control and computer vision, Kinematics and locomotion etc. Upon completion of the MS course candidates can expect to get job roles as Robotics engineer, Engineering product managers, Robotics technician, University Professors in various Government and Private sectors. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 8 Lakhs to 15 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete B.Tech/BE in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks followed by qualifying GATE exams.
