Master of Science in Engineering in Textile technology is a Post graduate Engineering specialisation course of 2 years that requires both study and thesis in the field of Textile technology. The Course consists of in-depth study of Design, testing, fabrication and innovation of Fabric materials or wearable items. The course covers a wide range of popular subjects related to Fabric technology like Chemical Processing of Textiles, Textile Testing & Instruments, Computer Applications in Textiles, Information Technology in Textile, Fabric Formation etc. Upon completion of this M.S engineering course candidates can expect to get job roles as Medical textiles engineer, Process engineer, Quality control supervisor, Technical salesperson, Process improvement engineer etc in Clothing and Apparel industries. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 5 to 10 Lakhs per year depending on the job position and type of company.
