Course Description
M.Tech Embedded Systems Engineering deals with almost all Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical systems which are now controlled by controllers which are fixed as part of the complete system. Some examples of such a system are transportation systems, tele-communication systems, chemical-processing plants such as aircraft and automobiles, home appliances, and bio-medical instruments such as microwave ovens and washing machines. The design of embedded controllers, and the accompanying intricate and automated communication networks that support them, raises new problems, such as: compatibility of operating systems, theoretical and practical impediments in network protocols, challenge to maximize the effectiveness of the embedded hardware. This program has been essentially designed to address many such technical bottlenecks, and other aspects of embedded and networked control.
