Course Description

M.Tech in Microelectronics and VLSI Design is a full-time 2-year program that is a part of Electronic System Engineering and focuses on designing VLSI tools and systems, high-speed networking, integrated circuits and improving computer performance. This course aims to facilitate problem-solving, reasoning & logical skills and to impart to students an advanced, in-depth knowledge as well as training and its application in the development of innovative methods and solutions to computing problems and technical systems, design and develop different VLSI Designs and technologies. Throughout the duration of this course, some of the core areas of study are also covered such as Solid-State Circuits, VLSI Circuits and Systems, Solid-State Circuits Laboratory, VLSI, VLSI Technology and Process Modelling etc that enable students to work in some of the major industries of this field.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.E / B.Tech from a recognized university with Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and/or require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
