Course Description

M.Tech in Sensors and Internet of Things is a 2 Year post graduate course in engineering. It provides a strong foundation on the fundamentals of sensing and sensor devices, which involves designing, modelling, simulation, and implementation. IoT collects and communicates data from the environment, using sensors, through a network of connected things and people. The core areas of study would be Principles of Sensors and Signal Conditioning, IoT Fundamentals and Architecture, Data Acquisition, Control Systems, Programming and scripting languages, Microcontrollers for IoT Prototyping, Wireless Sensor Networks and IoT, Signal Processing and Data Analytics etc. The application of this field of study would involve smart agriculture, transportation, environment monitoring, healthcare, smart wearables etc. The admissions are done through GATE Scores. The fee would vary from 1.8 Lakh to 3 Lakh according to the college

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
