Course Description
The covers all aspects of current-day integrated systems and system-on-a-chip solutions. This course covers application of analog and digital integrated circuits, memory technologies and circuits, wireless and wireline communications circuits, and emerging circuits and systems. The course primarily focus is placed on emerging issues in scaled technologies such as power dissipation. Some of the topics covered in the course are related to core technology and circuit techniques to system integration approaches. The coursework also involves research on the analysis, design, simulation, and validation of analog, mixed-mode, (sub) mm-wave, RF, power and digital circuits, and their applications from computation and sensing to cyber-physical and implantable biomedical systems.
