Course Description

M.Tech in Machine learning and Signal Processing is a 2 years postgraduate Engineering course that provides both technical and theoretical knowledge in Signal processing and machine learning which is a specialization course in analysing, modifying, and synthesizing signals such as images, sounds, motion pictures etc and their ways of transmission and storage techniques. The curriculum would include subjects some of which are Signal Processing Algorithms and Architectures, Linear Algebra and Optimization, Statistical Signal Processing etc Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to pursue career as Software developer, Information Processing Engineer, Signal Processing Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer in large Software and Electronics Hardware corporations. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 4 to 7 Lakhs per annum depending on company and job position. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete BE/BTech with 50% aggregate followed by qualifying the GATE exams. Fees in Universities are somewhere between 60k to 3 Lakhs INR per annum depending on the institutions.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
