M.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology guides students about methods for diagnostic testing in a laboratory and also guides them to analyze and identify substances, and microorganisms using common instruments found in a laboratory.Some important theory covered by the program in this course are Chemistry, Human Biology, Organic Chemistry, Haematology, Bacteriology and Medical Technology. Students in this course achieve experience in laboratory procedures, learn to analyze various substances including glucose, enzymes, and electrolytes. They also work with instruments, including learning theory procedure, spectrometer, laboratory mathematics, and clinical applications. Coursework covers identification of pathogenic microorganisms and their disease processes.
