Course Description

The study of Applied Mechanics focuses on the spectrum of mechanics in general, structural mechanics, biomechanics, micro- and nano-mechanics as well as hydrodynamics. applied mechanics focuses on independent scientific and research projects in the field of mechanics. Candidates gain a thorough understanding of engineering mechanics, mechanics of rigid and pliable bodies, and mechanics of liquids and thermodynamics. The primary focus of the programme is to integrate modelling, algorithmic formulations, implementations analyses of simulation results and experimental. During the course, candidates are familiarized with the research methods, capacity of critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have passed a Master's degree in applied mechanics or similar mechanical branch.
