Course Description
This doctoral programme is geared towards increasing quality and quantity of research in the area of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology. It examines the science behind Speech & Language. The areas of research include auditory physiology, psychophysics, speech perception, diagnostic Audiology, Rehabilitation Audiology, Industrial and Forensic Audiology, Educational Audiology, Paediatric and Geriatric Audiology. The study emphasizes experimental design issues, parametric and nonparametric statistics, and single case study designs. The study is concerned with hearing, balance and speech related disorders. The candidates learn a better identification skills, assess and diagnose disorders of hearing, balance and other neural systems.
