Course Description

Ph.D. Electrical Communication Engineering is a research-based programme. The research can be in any of the broad areas in ECE. The course focuses on the following core areas: signal/speech /image processing, VLSI and embedded systems, robotics, and communications. The main emphasis of this programme is on a thesis. Some of the major job profiles and designations that one might expect after graduating from PhD ECE includes Lecturer/Professor, Electronics and Communications Consultant, Customer Support Engineer, Network Planning Engineer Instrumentation Engineer, Technical Director, Senior Sales Manager, Field Test Engineer and Database Administrator etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate must have a minimum score of 60% in X & XII. BE/ B Tech (ECE or relevant areas of Electronics Engineering) must have a minimum of 60% and ME/ M. Tech/ S ((ECE or Instrumentation or Measurements or Signal Processing or Embedded Systems or VLSI ) with a minimum of 60% score or grade points average from any acclaimed Indian or Foreign University.
