Course Description
Ph.D Fuel, Minerals And Metallurgical Engineering is a 3 years doctorate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Mineralogy, Petrology & Stratigraphy, Gravity Separation of Coal and Minerals, Mining Methods and Unit Operations, Coal Preparation and Fuel Technology, etc. The course takes a research based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Materials engineer, Metallurgist, Product/process development scientist, Research scientist (physical sciences), Technical sales engineer, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
