Course Description

PhD Fine Arts is a research based doctoral course which focuses on the various aspects of Fine Arts including Painting, Drawing, Handicrafts, Sculptures etc. The course will include a coursework followed by a research program. Some of the popular subjects in PhD Fine Arts course include Art History, Art Criticism, Fine Arts Techniques etc. After the completion of coursework, the candidates will have to perform a detailed research on their research proposal.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have a Masters or M.Phil. degree in Fine Arts or any other relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks or any equivalent course. Many colleges also conduct entrance exams for the admission to this course.
