Course Description

Ph.D. (Library and Information Science) comprises a mix of theory and seminars. Applicants are required to present a proposal toward the end of the semester, the subject as chosen by the particular school offices. Students after this course can have jobs related to planning and coordination of library’s financial operations. They can become library assistant and their fundamental obligations are accession, rack arrangements, collecting of fines, support and maintenance of books and different materials.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
