PhD in Safety Engineering is a Doctoral level thesis programme of 3 years. This programme is a comprehensive research- based study in making work site safe for employees in the company and imposing statutory health and safety regulations as well as those provided by the company or government. Some of the concepts students will do their research studies are Engineering safety analysis, Human factors in engineering, Systems engineering theory, Industrial ergonomics, Labour Laws and Regulations etc. The scope is very bright with candidates having the potential to pursue jobs Systems safety engineer and Engineering ergonomics analyst in Medium and Large enterprises.
