Course Description
The course is concerned with urban issues and work towards new products and solutions related to housing, transport, water management, energy efficiency, urban informatics, health, governance, urban poverty, and citizen science while mitigating the effects of natural disasters and climate change. The study primarly drives focus towards the evaluation of city systems and their developments to make cities more habitable and sustainable. Candidates learn to integrate data and statistics on the basis of determination of the urban population size, median age, dominant sex, number of children born per year, yearly death rate, and many other characteristics.
