Course Description
The Post Basic diploma in renal Nursing is meant to equip nurses with the theory and skills necessary to provide evidence-based, quality care to patients with renal disorders. The course provides opportunities to understand complex kidney diseases, work with interdisciplinary groups and gain specific skills to care for patients who need ongoing care or vital treatment. They learn about dialysis, renal transplantation, and different treatment strategies which will enable them to manage chronic diseases and impact quality-of-life and end-of-life care for renal patients.
