Course Description

B.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology is a 3 years doctoral course. The course curriculum covers topics like Human anatomy and physiology, Basics of computer and image hard copies production, Basic physics and nuclear physics, Medical ethics, Principles of hospital practices, Physics of Nuclear Medicine instrumentation, Radiochemistry & Radio pharmacy, Nuclear Medicine Techniques & Special Procedures, Patient care relevant to Nuclear, Medicine practice, Recent advances in Nuclear Medicine Techniques, Radiation Biology & Radiation safety in Nuclear Medicine, Quality Assurance in Nuclear Medicine, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Radiologist, Research Assistant, Associate and Lab Leader, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
