B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering- Platform- based Development is a 4 years undergraduate Engineering course that provides both technical and theoretical skills in the field of Electronics hardware and software systems. Platform- based Development which is a specialization in this course is defined as "an integration-oriented design approach emphasizing systematic reuse, for developing complex products based upon platforms and compatible hardware and software virtual component, intended to reduce development risks, costs and time to market" which in simpler terms is the scientific strategy that balances product reuse and customization for sustained and cost effective use. Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to pursue career as Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, Product manager in multinational companies.
