Course Description

The study of Clinical Immunology deals with the diseases caused by disorders of the immune system whereas Rheumatology deals with the joints, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases and heritable connective tissue disorders. Candidates learn treatment of arthritis, autoimmune diseases, pain disorders affecting joints, osteoporosis and other inborn errors of immunity. Candidates perform research on the molecular and cellular bases of immunological disease and further determine the cause and better treatments for fatal diseases. This course specially trains candidates to do the detective work necessary to discover the cause of swelling and pain. This study also focuses a wide range of sub studies, ranging from genetic discovery, clinical description, immunologic assessment, diagnostic approach, prognosis evaluation, and treatment intervention.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have passed a M.D in Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology from a recognized university.
