Course Description
DM in Pulmonary and Critical Care is a study of medical science that deals with the prevention, cause, and treatment of problems in the lungs and its related area. During the program, the candidates learn about diagnostics and treatments, for example, bronchodilators, inhalers, etc. The course includes the whole range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures associated with the practice of pulmonary and critical care medicine like flexible fibreoptic bronchoscopy with all ancillary procedures, thoracentesis and closed pleural biopsy, endotracheal intubation, arterial and central venous line placement, bedside pulmonary artery catheterization, and chest tube placement.
