The study focuses on the digestive system and its disorders. Candidates get a better understanding of the treatments and disorders affecting the gastrointestinal tract, which include the organs from mouth into anus, along the alimentary canal.Candidates learn to perform special endoscopic procedures to draw the right diagnosis including capsule endoscopy and also therapeutic endoscopy thus provide medical care for infants, children, and adolescents.The study examines the normal functions,disorders and treatment of the esophagus, stomach,colon and rectum, pancreas, small intestine, gallbladder, bile ducts and liver. Candidates are trained to non-surgically remove stones in the bile ducts, treat tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.
