Course Description
The candidates are provided with special training required to evaluate and treat newborns’ medical problems , especially the ill or premature newborn. In addition, they learn the use equipment that is designed specifically for the tiniest patients. Neonatology is a subspecialty of pediatrics that consists of the medical care of newborn infants. The course equips candidates with such specialty service and provide handson practise in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Candidates learn to assist at the time of delivery and in the subsequent care of your newborn. The course also provides better identification of problems that can come up pre-post pregnancy. Candidates develop their coordination and management skills for newborns born premature, are critically ill, or in need of surgery.
