MD in Ayurveda (Dravyaguna) is 2-year postgraduate degree program. The program involves study of the principles, therapeutic profiles of the food/ drug substances in Ayurveda, qualities, actions. The program also provides study of the properties of drugs. This is a non-clinical course. The students are also exposed to study sets standards of Ayurveda pharmacognosy and pharmacology with focus on identifying dubious medications, adulterants, and substitutes utilized as a part of Ayurveda practice.
