Course Description

Paediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program is a Post MD Medical course of 2-3 years. The Course is dedicated to extensive study in the field of Cardiac Health and Surgery in Infants or adolescents. The course covers study in concepts like Paediatric intensive cardiac care, Echocardiography, Quality and philosophy of paediatric cardiology practice, Management and communication skills etc fundamental to paediatric cardiology. Upon completion of the course candidates can expect to get job roles as Paediatric Doctors or Surgeons, Surgical assistants, Surgical Technicians etc in Hospitals and other Healthcare institutions. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 6 Lakhs to 18 Lakhs per annum depending on the organisation and job position. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete a MD program in Medicine or other Biomedical related stream with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Fees in Universities are somewhere between less than 1 Lakhs to 3 Lakhs INR depending on the institutions.

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
