M.Com. Accounting & Taxation or Master of Commerce in Accounting & Taxation is a postgraduate Accounts course. Accounting and Taxation cover the study of principles of accounting, financial planning, and economic theory together with a specialized focus on Taxation that is termed as a method of imposing monetary charge (tax) on the citizens who earn ‘taxable’ financial gain. In alternative words, M.Com. (Accounting & Taxation) is a program in which, apart from a general course study in Commerce, the primary focus is on the systematic study of the concepts within the specialised subjects and topics associated with the fields of Accounting and Taxation and covers all sorts of taxes including income tax, Sales Tax, VAT, Service tax, land tax, etc and Tax laws & regulations.
