Course Description

M.E. in Embedded Systems and VLSI Design is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Analogue and Digital CMOS IC Design, Real-Time Operating Systems, Principles and Practices of IT Management, Embedded Signal Processing, Embedded System Design, RF IC Design, ASIC Design and Modelling, Fault Tolerant System Design, Reconfigurable Computing, Embedded Automotive Systems, etc. The course takes a practical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Embedded Software Engineer, Technical Architect, Testing Engineer, Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, etc. Applicants with good understanding of the role of embedded systems, development and its design are suitable for the course. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
