Course Description
Msc in Home Science – Food Service Management & Dietetics is a Postgraduate course of 2 years. The course gives students both in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Food and Nutrition management and treatment of nutritional problems.
The course covers core concepts significant in Food Service Management & Dietetics like Nutritional Biochemistry, Food Safety and Food Microbiology, Advance Nutrition, Clinical and Therapeutic Nutrition, Research Methods and Biostatistics, Principles of Food Science etc
Candidates can work as Nutritional researchers, Food Service Manager, Restaurant Manager, Food Service Directors etc in both Private or Government sectors. Starting salary range between 3 Lakhs to 8 Lakhs per annum depending on job position.
For Eligibility, Students need to complete Bsc in Nutrition Science related disciplines with minimum 55% aggregate for admissions in reputed Universities. Average Fees per year cost around less than one lakh to 5-6 lakhs depending on the University.
