Course Description

M.Sc Child Development is a 2 year post graduate programme that trains the students to work with children and young people. The areas of study range from Advanced Child Development, Nutrition through Life Cycle, Methods and Techniques of Child Study, Children with special needs to Child right and welfare etc. It is a combination of training in applied research and policy. Various postings for the graduates will include Child Life Specialist, Special Education Paraprofessional, Parent Educator, Early Childhood Education Consultant, Early Childhood Education Regulator, Social Worker.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
