Course Description

The objective of the course is to integrate technology with the medical sciences in such a manner that the synergistic relationship between them can help evolve a better system for medical diagnosis, research, treatment, and support systems. Upon successful completion of the program, postgraduates are trained in the fundamental concepts and processes involved in biological engineering, and can efficiently develop creative ideas intended for early detection and identification of a variety of biological signals. Enrolled students are taught to devise algorithms for successful and objective interpretation of biological data. The program imparts advanced lessons in biomedical electronics, analytical, and quantitative skills required in interpreting the data acquired and in processing medical data including imaging and enhancement techniques. Students are equipped with the adequate skills in jargon required to interact knowledgeably with medical practitioners. The discipline draws content from a variety of areas such as chemistry, physics, medicine, electronics and mechanical engineering, to name a few.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
