Course Description

The central point of M.Tech Physical Metallurgy is to provide a physical basis that links the structure of materials with their properties, focusing primarily on metals. With this understanding in hand, the concepts of alloy design and micro structural engineering are also discussed, linking processing and thermodynamics to the structure and properties of metals. The course covers the basic topics in metallurgy, giving the student the tools to work with and understand metallurgical processes and concepts.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B. E./B. Tech./M.Sc in engineering or sciences discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a valid score in GATE.
