Course Description

Otolaryngology (MS/DLO) is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Ear, Audiology, Nose and Paranasal Sinuses, Oral Activity, Pharynx and esophagus, Larynx and tracheobronchial tree, Skull base, Basic Immunology, Microbiology as related to ENT, Wound Healing Principle, Intensive Care in ENT Principles, Anesthesia in ENT, Biomaterials used in ENT, Medical Negligence in Otolaryngology, Principle of Chemotherapy, Principle of Radiology, etc. The course takes a practical and theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Consultant ENT, Otolaryngologist, ENT Surgeon, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
