Course Description

PhD in Clinical Pharmacology is a Doctoral level thesis programme of 3 years which is clinical research-oriented advanced education programme aimed at creating professionals for pharmacology which is study in science of Drug use and its functions in Human Beings. Candidates completing the course have the potential to take up professions like Clinical Pharmacists, Clinical Scientists in different health institutions and pharmaceutical organisations or Medical Professors or Deans in reputed Medical or Pharmacy colleges. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 5 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete Masters in Pharmacy related discipline. Most Universities setting their own criteria of minimum 55% to 60% marks. Many Universities have their own PhD entrance exams. Average Fees for the course is between 20K to 3 Lakhs INR per annum depending on the institution.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
