Course Description

PhD in Commerce and Economics is a Doctoral level thesis course of 3 years which is research-based course. It covers research in commercial concepts like Fundamentals of Marketing, Accounting, International Business, Finance, Trade, Stock Exchanges etc. Upon completion of the PhD course candidates can expect to get jobs like Business Analyst, Business Manager, Stock agent/analyst, Business development manager. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 3 Lakhs to 8 Lakhs per annum depending on the organisation and job position. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete Masters in commerce related programme with minimum aggregate of 55% followed by qualifying entrance tests like UGC NET Exam and college interviews.
