Ph.D in Aquaculture is 3-5 years research based program. Aquaculture also called aqua-farming, is the farming of aquatic beings, like mollusks, aquatic plants, fish and crustaceans. In this course, students gain knowledge about aquaculture and the farming of aquatic beings, like fish, mollusks, scavengers, and aquatic plants. It includes the investigation of Biodiversity, Aquatic Toxicology, Fish Diseases, Fish Nutrition and Immunology. The students lead examinations on varied parts of frogs, fish, and mice as experimental models.The course also consists of project work and generating thesis at the end of the program, the topic will be suggested by the faculty of the colleges.
