Course Description

Occupational Therapy is also known as Physical Therapy, and is the science of cure and rehabilitation of the physically, emotionally, mentally and neurological disabled and challenged people. Ph.D in Occupational Therapy focuses on modifying the task, environmental adaptation, education, and subsequent treatment of the client.Essentially, it deals with any activity, physical or mental, medically prescribed and professionally guided to aid a patient in recovering from disease or injury through the use of therapeutic methods, assistive technology, orthotics (splint) and environmental modifications.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview
