Course Description

Ph.D. in Smart Healthcare is a postgraduate degree program that focuses on healthcare by using high performance computing (HPC), internet of things, Big Data and cognitive computing on traditional business models of healthcare providers, suppliers, and insurance companies. The program focuses on designing and developing sustainable solutions for point-of-care health devices, drug discovery, affordable diagnostics, biocompatible implants, and remote health care, including telemedicine. The objective of the course is to augment existing methods for medical research by using machine learning and artificial intelligence based approaches. It also aims to create a platform for the use of various electronic, mechanical, and bio-sensors for improving the remote health care facilities.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
