Course Description
MD in Pulmonary Medicine program focus on interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease, heart-lung and lung transplantation, and non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease. It also provides pre-operative evaluations and comprehensive pulmonary function testing.The course includes the whole range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures associated with the practice of pulmonary and critical care medicine: flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy with all ancillary procedures, endotracheal intubation, arterial and central venous line placement, thoracentesis and closed pleural biopsy, bedside pulmonary artery catheterization as well as chest tube placement.
