PhD in Telugu language studies is a 3 year Doctoral level course in Telugu language and literature. The programme is aimed at letting students have deep insights and gain expertise in Telugu Language. The course covers a wide range of fundamental subjects related to Telugu Language like Research Methodology, Computer Application, Quantitative Method, Review of literature etc Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to get jobs as College Professors, Journalists, Language interpreters, Content Developer and have scope in various Government position in State of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 1.5 to 5 Lakhs per annum depending on the organisation. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete a Masters of Art degree in Telugu with 50% aggregate marks. Some reputed Universities have their own Entrance examinations which students are expected to attend. Fees in Universities are somewhere between 2 lakhs to 3 Lakhs INR depending on the institutions.
