Course Description

Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) Biomechanics is a 2 years post graduate course that deals with the study of bone mechanics, respiratory mechanics, ligament mechanics. The course covers topics like Fundamental Mechanics, Muscle Mechanics, Ligament and Tendon Mechanics, Bone Mechanics, Joint Mechanics, Measurement Instruments, Mechanical energy, Work and Power, Gait, Path mechanics, Ergonomics, Biomechanics of Respiration, Biomechanics of Nervous System, etc. On completion of the course, candidates can work in private clinics, hospitals, health care departments or as Physiotherapists, Homeopathist, etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
